On Tuesday we made pop-ups! Check it out…

Mr. Pierre, the BCCP and Walt Whitman Art Teacher, has been working with a group of incredibly hard-working and talented students to create this mural depicting the community here in Flatbush.

I’d also like to note that Ashley Lloyd, amazing artist and 8th grader, painted a good portion of the people in the mural, freehand.

The mural was a collaboration between the BCCP and CMS, conceived of by Mr. Pierre.
